Jetex - licensed carburetors for classic Lambretta models
Jetex is one of the manufacturers that has been offering licensed replicas of the Dell'Orto SH carburetors for Lambretta since the 1970s. The carburetors are closely based on the original design and have long been used as a cost-effective alternative to Dell'Orto - especially in markets where original parts were difficult to obtain.
Typical for Jetex are a simple design, good parts compatibility and the usability of the common Dell'Orto 5 mm nozzles. A clean basic tuning is sufficient for many series setups, which is why Jetex carburetors were a common solution for LI, SX and DL/GP models for decades.
Today, Jetex carburetors are mainly used when an SH carburetor with an original look or a moderately priced replacement is required. They form a functional basis for classic Lambretta engines and continue to be a relevant component in the supply of historic models.
