KNIPEX is a family-owned company from Wuppertal, Germany, and has stood for the highest quality in the production of pliers and special tools for over 140 years. Founded in 1882 by Carl Gustav Putsch as a small forge, the company has developed into a globally recognized specialist for professional hand tools. Today, the company is run by the fourth generation and employs over 1,500 people – a testament to sustainable growth and strong corporate culture. Despite its international success, KNIPEX has remained true to its origins and values. Production takes place exclusively in Wuppertal, underlining its commitment to the quality label "Made in Germany". The company places great importance on environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and continuous innovation.
