Aprilia - Scarabeo 200 (2006, ZD4TDA03)
The Aprilia Scarabeo 200 with type code ZD4TDA03 was introduced in 2006 and represented a facelift within the Scarabeo range.
The vehicle combines the core characteristics of a large-wheeled scooter with classic styling, practical technology and increased engine performance for both urban and longer-distance use.
This version marks the final iteration before the transition to the redesigned Scarabeo 200 generation with a new engine platform.
Model history
For the 2006 model year, the Scarabeo 200 received several technical and visual updates.
These included refined instrument details, an updated seat geometry and revisions to the exhaust and CVT transmission.
The proven four-stroke engine was adapted to meet emission standards but retained its core layout.
The ZD4TDA03 is thus a logical evolution of the previous TDA01 models.

CVT automatic transmission with electric starter and low-maintenance drive.
Ignition system: electronic CDI, fuel tank capacity around 8.5 litres.
Top speed: approx. 115 km/h.

Front: telescopic fork, Rear: mono shock absorber.
16-inch wheels front and rear for stability on poor surfaces.
Disc brakes: 260 mm front, 220 mm rear.

The ZD4TDA03 was available in muted tones such as grey, silver or black.
Depending on market, some models featured factory options like windscreen, top case or two-tone seat.
