The cap nuts are specially designed to meet the requirements of Vespa tubeless rims. Thanks to the integrated collar, the contact pressure is distributed over a larger area than with a conventional hexagon nut. Together with the Schnorr washers supplied, this results in a very dimensionally stable connection that remains reliable even at high speeds and strong vibrations.

For mounting, the tubeless rim is placed on the wheel mount as usual, then the Schnorr washers and the cap nuts are mounted on the stud bolts. The nuts are tightened evenly crosswise until the tightening torque specified by the rim or vehicle manufacturer is reached.
