Contaminated fuel can cause clogging of the fine carburetor jets. The result is engines that are tuned too lean, which quickly contributes to loss of power or engine damage. A paper filter element filters fuel even finer than conventional filters with fine mesh plastic.

The filter has a large fuel reservoir and 8mm hose connections.
