Scomadi scooters - information, models and suitable spare parts
Scomadi originated from a British initiative by two Lambretta specialists who wanted to develop a modern vehicle with classic lines. The early prototypes, such as the TL300 Carbon, were hand-built small series models and served as the basis for the later series scooters. Technically, the first Scomadi models used water-cooled Piaggio LC units before the company's own 125 and 200 cc four-stroke engines were introduced. Today, Scomadi vehicles are less common in this country, but retain their status as retro scooters with a clear Lambretta-inspired look and modern four-stroke technology.
Scomadi - modern retro technology with a Lambretta look
Model overview, technology and parts supply in Scooter Center
Typical Scomadi models include the TL125, TL200, TT125 and TT200. The first series were delivered with Piaggio-based LC engines, while later production runs used Scomadi's own air- or water-cooled four-stroke engines. The models feature CVT drive, electronic injection, modern braking systems and an independent chassis with clear references to classic Lambretta lines.
Series production was relocated to Thailand in the course of development, which led to a more stable supply chain and a clear component architecture.
The Scooter Center stocks spare parts for the drive, variator, EFI, electrics, brake system, fairing elements and all maintenance points for the Scomadi models.
Technical features of the Scomadi scooters
Scomadi combines a retro look with modern four-stroke technology. The vehicles have easily accessible variomatic units, logically arranged wiring harnesses and stable frame structures made of steel or composite material. The EFI systems and brake units are based on the technical standards of conventional four-stroke scooters and enable clear and reliable maintenance.
Thanks to the modular design and the clear structure of the assemblies, spare parts can be precisely assigned. The Scomadi scooters were deliberately designed to be technically suitable for everyday use in order to unite classic lines and modern maintenance logic - a combination that still defines their character today.
