The rebound damping controls how quickly the shock absorber rebounds after compression. This process can be sensitively controlled using the adjustment wheel. A faster rebound stage provides an agile response, a slower one ensures a calm suspension and more stability on undulating roads or when loaded.

Fitting instructions
Installation is carried out with the shock absorber removed. After installation, document the basic set-up in clicks and fine-tune while driving.
Relieve the shock absorber, expose access to the damping adjuster, fit the adjustment wheel.
Select the basic set-up, approximately the factory-recommended average value, then adjust in clicks.
Check after test ride: Correct bobbing, pumping or hard reset movements by 1-2 clicks.

What is the rebound damping responsible for?
It determines the rebound speed after compression. Too fast can cause a rebound, too slow can cause the suspension to "collapse". If the spring preload is changed, the rebound speed usually has to be adjusted as well
How do I document my settings?
Count the clicks from the fully closed or open reference point and note them down for each use. This will help you quickly find the right setting for solo, pillion or luggage.
Do I need tools?
Yes, a 27 mm open-end wrench. The adjustment wheel is made up of two parts and must be separated or assembled for mounting.
Does the adjustment wheel fit all BGM PRO shocks?
It is designed for BGM PRO Competition. For other dampers, please check the dimensions and design in advance.
Which basic set-up makes sense?
Start with the recommended average value, ride a short test lap and adjust in small steps. A change of one or two clicks is usually clearly noticeable.
