BGM PRO Torquemaster - the perfect replacement for standard 4th gears in Vespa PX old & Rally transmissions.This gear is the reinforced version of the original fourth gear with 35 teeth - ideal for all those who want to stay true to the standard gear but do not want to compromise on durability and material quality. Manufactured from high-alloy special steel, heat-treated at ThyssenKrupp and tested for maximum continuous load - significantly more resilient than the original Piaggio version.
Note: On Vespa PX125 models, this gear replaces the original 36-tooth gear and therefore has a slightly longer ratio. This provides slightly more top speed at the same engine speed - particularly interesting in combination with more powerful setups or long primary gear ratios.

The BGM PRO Torquemaster gearwheel (35 teeth) is made of 14NiCrMo13 (1.6657), a high-alloy case-hardening steel, as used by KTM, BMW & Co. in gearbox construction.

Compatibility
The gear fits all gearboxes with the "old type" specification - i.e. Vespa Largeframe models built between 1982 and 1984, as well as Rally models. 1:1 interchangeable with the original 35-tooth gear - on PX125 it replaces the 36-tooth gear and slightly extends the gear ratio.

Important: Not suitable for Lusso models from model year 1984! If you are unsure, take a look at the gearshift cross: The old type uses the cranked version with a thickness of 5 mm.

Is this gear wheel true to the original?
Yes - it replaces the original 35-tooth wheel in PX200/Rally gearboxes 1:1. On PX125 it is slightly longer than the standard 36-tooth wheel.

Yes, it is 1:1 compatible with all "PX old" type gearboxes (1982-1984).
Can the gear wheel also be used with tuning engines?
Absolutely - the material is significantly more resilient than OEM quality and designed for high torques.
Does the gear run louder than the original?
