If you want more air and more volume on the SI carburettor, there is no way around the VESPTEC Qicklock airbox: flow-optimized, noticeably more intake volume and a Quicklock system without screws. The Venturi lower part brings the flow cleanly towards the carburettor - and if you want even more intake air, you can also attach a 28 mm Ram-Air air filter(filter not included).

Venturi effect: 2-part system with elliptical Venturi lower section for a clean, efficient airflow.

Technology and mounting principle

Material: ASA plastic (black) - high resistance to gasoline and oils.
Installation: screwless fit on supplied bolts, which are mounted in the carburetor sump.
Venturi size: Supplied with 23.5 mm for individual adjustment.
External idle: idle speed can be adjusted within reach without having to dismantle everything every time.
Without rubber gasket: very high fitting accuracy, clean contact surfaces.

Important notes before installation

Carburetor sumps: fits PX old and PX Lusso carburetor sumps (with and without oil pump).
Teflon lubricant: recommended for clean sliding on the bolts.
Cable box: a cable box with offset outlet is required.
SIP carburetor sump: does not fit without reworking (front thread is approx. 3 mm higher).
Ram-Air connection: internal insertion sleeve for filter attachment with cable tie, TPU sealing cap for the connection hole is included.
Scope of delivery: Airbox and Venturi lower part, bolts and accessories - air filter not included.

More volume and a smooth flow create reserves for setups that go beyond the standard state. In practice, this is often the difference between "works somehow" and a setup that responds cleanly and runs stably.
The supplied bolts are fitted to the carburetor sump. The airbox is then fitted without screws, which minimizes assembly errors, saves time and reduces the risk of screws coming loose.
No. However, the airbox offers the option of connecting a 28 mm Ram-Air air filter.
Not without reworking, as the front thread of the SIP carburetor sump is offset approx. 3 mm higher.
