Polini updates the ECM "ENGINE CONTROL MODULE" for Vespa and Liberty 50 Euro 5 from 2025 with TFT display.
The ECM must be replaced for each configuration.
The Polini ECM was developed and adapted thanks to feedback from the Polini Racing department after numerous tests.
The Polini ECM upgrade allows you to choose between three different maps to customize the vehicle.
The Polini electronic ECM controls the engine and includes the connected sensors, actuators, fuel injection, ignition and auxiliary engine components.
The Polini ECM boosts vehicle performance using the latest generation of microprocessors in synergy with hardware developed specifically for this engine.
It is a plug & play ECM. Installation is very simple and quick: just disconnect the original ECM and connect the Polini ECM.
The map selection is easy to use and has three preset maps:
Map 1 (Original) - Designed to convert the vehicle to its original configuration with factory engine without increasing the engine speed.
This function is not applicable when larger sized cylinders and valve springs are fitted.
Optional to fit with: Polini Hi-Speed variator with 5.8 g rollers and Polini silencer

Map 2 - Increasing the engine speed to 10,000 while retaining the original engine.
With this setting, the installation of the supplied valve springs is not mandatory, but is recommended.
Optionally to be fitted with: Polini Hi-Speed variator with 5.3 g rollers, Polini exhaust and Polini air filter sleeve (on models where installation is provided).
Map 3 - Allows the vehicle to reach a top speed of 70-75 km/h. With a small additional step, it is possible to achieve maximum power.
The basis for this step is always the cylinder kit with 49 mm diameter, which increases the displacement to around 80 cm³ (e.g. P1400236 or P1400223), combined with a longer final drive from Polini (e.g. P2021424), which is mandatory for optimum results.
It is also recommended to install the Polini variator (P241737 or P241773) and the Polini silencer (P1900079) for this expansion stage.
ATTENTION: To use this set-up, all original valve springs must be replaced by the springs included in the package.
