Due to the relatively low compression the D.R. can be operated with regular gasoline. Very nice are the thin 1.5mm piston rings, which do not get in the way of higher speeds.

So even a D.R. with a suitable racing shaft and a reasonable exhaust can develop an amazing performance. The performance then almost reaches Polini values, which justifies even larger exhaust systems like the VSP Inox or the Hammerzombie.

D.R. now offers only one cylinder for the PK and PV models, not two separate ones as before.

Dimensions of original cylinder:

Exhaust stay bolts:

• PK= 6mm
• PV/ET3= 8 mm

The distance between the threaded holes at the exhaust is at

• PK 56 mm
• PV 52 mm

The DR cylinder has the following dimensions:

outlet studs:

• 8 mm

The distance between the threaded holes at the outlet is:

• 54 mm

The DR cylinder is thus located exactly between the dimensions of the PV/ET3 and PK cylinders

Evtl. Therefore the outlet flange of the exhaust must be slightly adjusted.
