The MHR cylinder has proven to be a very thankful candidate for a higher profile, despite much more generously dimensioned flushing cross sections than its predecessor. Prerequisite is an environment corresponding to the cylinder such as a large carburettor with a corresponding intake system and a powerful exhaust system.
Thanks to the good flushing system of the MHR, the cylinder loses little power in the pre-resonance range even with a strong boost (the range before the exhaust starts to support).
Please remember that the head will be reduced to a level corresponding to the boost. Otherwise, compaction and performance will drop dramatically. If the cylinder is operated with a crankshaft with a stroke of 60mm, it is obligatory to raise the cylinder and this is a simple means to realize the multiple stroke (3mm = 1.5mm spacer at the foot) without additional head gasket.
