CHARACTERISTICS
The Nessi from POSCH Performance is designed as a sporty touring exhaust with full suitability for everyday use. The character of the exhaust system is designed for very good driveability and offers a rich torque with a very nice bandwidth. A very good pre-resonance behavior as well as a nice two-stroke kick at approx. 5000 rpm offer driving pleasure and sovereignty on the road.

RPM AND STEERING ANGLE

  • Power peak: approx. 7500 rpm (depending on engine concept)

  • Recommended cylinder control angle:

    • Exhaust angle: 190°

    • Overflow angle: 132°-134°

    • Pre-discharge angle: 28° to 29


In practice, however, Nessi also copes well with significantly smaller control angles, which can range from 128° to 186°.


QUALITY AND NOISE
The exhaust systems from Posch Performance are manufactured in Germany to a very high standard from thick (1.5 mm) sheet steel. The high wall thickness of the material used makes the Posch exhaust systems extremely solid. The unusually thick-walled sheet metal provides a muffled and rich sound. We recommend the Scooter&Service rear silencer. However, the flange plate also offers the option of using rear silencers from PM-Tuning, MR-Parts or MMW and similar with the standard Ø54mm hole pattern. However, the tailpipe diameter of the silencer should be at least Ø25mm. The Posch exhaust systems are supplied oiled. The exhaust should therefore be treated with heat protection paint before the first ride.


ESSENTIALITY

As one of the few exhaust systems in this performance class, the 'Nessiauspuff' fits with wide tires and main stand. It was also elaborately routed in a snake shape, which is how it got its name.


FITTING

The exhaust is welded in Germany on a specially manufactured exhaust gauge. This enables us to guarantee a very good fit. Please note, however, that a Vespa engine has some peculiarities that can affect the fit. For example, the fact that the cylinder is not centered on the engine block and the possible twisting of the exhaust flange by several degrees can decide whether an exhaust system can be fitted without problems. The Malossi engine cases are also designed differently (more solidly) in the area of the exhaust bracket than an original engine case.

The exhaust system is available in two versions:

  • For Malossi Sport/MHR cylinders

  • For Quattrini cylinder M232/M244
