If the carburettor overflows or the engine idles at too low a speed that can no longer be compensated for by the idle screw, the electric choke or the float needle is usually defective. The defective float needle can be recognized by the fact that the engine takes the throttle normally after a few hundred meters and only makes fewer revolutions when idling. A defective electric choke on the other hand means a permanent overgreasing of the engine. The exchange of the float needle is quite simple, in addition simply the carburetor disassemble, the float chamber (black) remove and the holding pin of the plastic float (white) with a ball-point pen or the like laterally press out. The installation of the new float needle is done in reverse order. Given if the float needle seat is cleaned/polished with a cotton swab.
