• 6x aluminium tread strips
• rubber tread strips (sold by the meter)
• 12x plastic end pieces to rivet
• aluminium rivets to fix the strips

The tread strips themselves are already pre-bent and drilled to fit exactly.

Please note that the floor mat on the frame tunnel in the middle is a separate article which is not included in the delivery. The PX Alt model until 1984 has a rubber mat, the later Lusso/MY/2011 models use a hard plastic shell. Both variants can be exchanged among each other if the corresponding holes are drilled in the chassis.

TIP: The rivets can be processed very elegantly with our riveting pliers. This way you can achieve 100% of the original factory look. Simpler, cheaper but not like the original is the use of so-called pop rivets with the corresponding pliers from the DIY store.

UPDATE 11/2012: Change of supplier. After quality problems with the previous set of steps from RMS, we have now changed to the set from CIF and/or Olympia and now have a very high quality set of steps in our delivery program that meets all the desired quality standards.

TIP: We recommend that before each painting, we assemble the scooter in its raw state, a so-called dry-build. Here any necessary adjustments can be carried out quickly and easily without damaging a new paint. Then assembling the freshly painted parts is twice as much fun!
