The Dexter Racing brake kit is the solution if you want to convert a Vespa Smallframe with original V50/PV fork to disc brakes without replacing the entire fork. Instead of frame work or mudguard adjustments, the complete swingarm is replaced. The result: significantly more braking reserve, a cleanly integrated look and a conversion that can be dismantled again if necessary. The swingarm and wheel hub are made of natural aluminium (aluminium-coloured), not coated black. The brake calliper is not included - we recommend the bgm PRO brake calliper BGM2506TTB.

Anti-dive / anti-tip - what's behind it?

The smallframe fork is known to dive under hard braking. Dexter solves this by modifying the damper linkage in the swingarm: the kinematics reduce the pitching tendency, the front wheel is guided more smoothly when braking and deceleration is more controlled.

Important notes on selection

This kit is intended for original V50/PV forks. For PK forks, please select the appropriate Dexter version.

There are different versions depending on the rim type (e.g. closed 4-hole or open 5-hole rims). Check rim type before ordering.

Tubeless depends on your rim, the kit is generally designed for 10 inch rims.

Recommended brake caliper

The kit does not include a brake caliper. For the 82 mm radial mount, we recommend the bgm PRO brake caliper BGM2506TTB. This allows you to create a clearly defined, stable setup without having to improvise when selecting adapters and hole patterns.
