The SIEM LED headlight combines modern LED lighting technology with the classic appearance of the early Largeframe models. It is operated in the 12-volt AC vehicle electrical system via the enclosed AC/DC voltage converter and provides a bright, homogeneous light image with low power consumption.
Manufactured by SIEM in Italy, a long-standing partner of Piaggio. The glass lens and the included trim ringensure a close-to-original look and a clean fit - ideal for restorations with contemporary light output.
Quick plug and play retrofit in the existing lamp pot. The trim ring is included in the set. All electrical connections are made via the converter between the vehicle electrical system and the headlamp. Observe polarity and establish corrosion-free earth points.
This LED headlight requires 12 V. Vehicles with an original 6 V vehicle electrical system cannot operate it directly. A conversion to 12 V is necessary, consisting of a 12 V ignition system and an adapted wiring harnessincluding a suitable regulator. Only then can the headlight be used via the enclosed converter.
The converter supplies the LED with direct current. Supported modes: low beam with parking light andlow beam plus high beam and parking light. For long-lasting operation, check plug contacts regularly.
