Lambretta intake manifold from MB Developments for piston-controlled Lambretta cylinders with 200 - 250 cc displacement. This allows carburetors with 30 mm connection width to be installed. The Mikuni TM 24 or the Dellorto PHBL 25 are particularly recommended here.
The sealing surfaces of the intake manifold and cylinder inlet may need to be adapted to each other. The best way to do this is to use an intake gasket as a template and use a Dremel to align the areas.
An M7 screw is included in the scope of delivery to replace the long stud bolt. When using the screw, the engine does not have to be lowered to remove the intake.
The intake manifold is ideal for all cut-downs, choppers and scooters without fairings, as the intake manifold is shaped so that it is inclined forwards in the direction of travel. Not ideal for scooters with full fairings, except for 1/2 series types.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to use the original air filter box with the current version of the MB intake, as the carburetor is too close to the side cover.
For use with the original air filter box, it is best to use the bgm intake manifold BGM2560D30.
