Jockey’s – The Lambretta Experts from Bavaria

Jockey’s Boxenstop has been around since 1996. There are many parallels between Jockey’s and Scooter Center. In the late 80s, the hobby was discovered and turned into a profession in the 90s. With passion, attention to detail, and absolute professionalism, all work on scooters is carried out – preferably on Lambrettas. Their restorations are among the best in the world. We are fortunate to not only work with these guys but also count them as friends.

From Passion to Profession – The Story of Jockey’s Boxenstop

For Jockey, it all started in 1986 with a V50 in Mod style. He became more and more involved in the Austrian and German scene. In spring 1996, he went self-employed and “Jockey’s Boxenstop” was born. Since completing his master’s certificate in motorcycle mechanics – with the highest Bavarian Master Award – Jockey has been running his shop full-time.

From Garage to Own Workshop

Until early 2004, Jockey’s Boxenstop was located in a small garage in idyllic Gartlberg, Pfarrkirchen. Over the years, due to lack of space, various storage and parking areas were added. Since this was not a permanent solution, they looked for a larger workshop. After two years of searching without success, a purpose-built building was constructed.

Jockey’s Boxenstop Today – Worth a Visit

A visit here is highly recommended: for the building, the Lambretta frame jig, the always impressive number and quality of scooters, and of course, to say hello to Markus and Jockey.
