Introduction
Aprilia - Leonardo 250 (2004, ZD4SV)
The Aprilia Leonardo 250 (type ZD4SV) was introduced in 2004 and represented the most powerful version of the Leonardo series. With its torquey four-stroke engine and modern design, it offered a well-balanced mix of sporty styling and everyday practicality.
It was especially appealing to commuters and long-distance riders who valued comfort, performance and a high level of equipment.
Model History
The Leonardo 250 was developed as an evolution of the successful 125 cc and 150 cc versions and targeted riders looking for a more powerful option in the mid-size segment.
In addition to the new engine, the 250 received a redesigned front fairing with integrated windscreen, larger brakes, and a reinforced frame for improved stability at higher speeds.
It marked the end of the classic Leonardo range before being succeeded by the Scarabeo 250 and Atlantic 250.
