Made in GermanySuitable for internal and external oil seals, this drive shaft is designed for rear wheel torques in excess of 500 Nm, especially for the powerful BFA and M244 engines. Nevertheless, it is important to ensure that the shock absorber is able to cope with the torque applied. The increase in strength was achieved by enlarging the bearing journal to 25 mm.
SCOPE OF DELIVERY
The complete set is supplied as shown in the pictures.
ASSEMBLY
The steel ring is inserted under the bearing, then the bearing is installed in the engine block.
The rear wheel nut is an M16 x 1.5 nut. The original nut cannot be used.
ATTENTION: Observe the tightening torque: 110Nm
The original locking cage for the nut must be used. We also recommend using some Loctite medium-strength, also on the polygon. Make sure that the shift bolt protrudes a maximum of 1.5 mm beyond the shift cross.
