Replacement and Installation
The underlay is intended exclusively for the outer position of the front right footboard trim. Royal Alloy uses differently shaped components depending on the mounting location, including the inner and outer as well as the left and right footboard trim strips. When ordering a replacement part, particular attention should therefore be paid to the exact mounting position and original part number.
To replace the underlay, remove the corresponding footboard trim strip and take out the existing underlay. Before installation, inspect the adjacent components and designated mounting areas for damage and dirt. The new underlay must be aligned according to its contours before the footboard trim strip is refitted.
