The Aprilia Scarabeo 50 (ZD4KMA) model year 2018 represented one of the final developments of the renowned Scarabeo series in the 50cc segment. Model History

After production of earlier Scarabeo models had ended, the ZD4KMA variant was launched in 2018 as a final update. The goal was to reinterpret the successful Scarabeo formula with updated components and design refinements. The focus remained on comfort, efficiency, and Italian flair.
The model was released in limited numbers and targeted primarily at the European market. Due to increasing competition and shifting market demands, the series was not continued after this model year.

Technical Details

The Aprilia Scarabeo 50 (ZD4KMA, 2018) was equipped with an air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine with 49cc displacement. It produced around 3 hp (2.2 kW) and reached a top speed of about 45 km/h. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) ensured easy and smooth city riding.
The chassis included a telescopic front fork and a rear mono shock absorber. The front brake was a 220 mm disc, while the rear used a drum brake. The fuel tank had a capacity of about 7 liters, and the dry weight was around 93 kg. Fuel consumption ranged between 2 and 2.5 liters per 100 km.

Color Options and Accessories

The ZD4KMA version was offered in elegant, neutral colors such as graphite gray, white, and dark blue. Some versions featured matte paint or two-tone seats for visual enhancement.
Available accessories included a tall windscreen, a matching top case, a rear luggage rack, and leg covers. The combination of proven Scarabeo style, up-to-date technology, and urban practicality made this model a popular choice for style-conscious city riders.
