Flywheel pullers are the only correct way to remove the fan wheel without damaging it. The puller is screwed into the thread provided on the pole wheel. The pole wheel is then pulled off the crankshaft stub using the central clamping screw. The pole wheel puller must be held with an open-end wrench. Required for work on the ignition and for work on components underneath.
