DEXTER RACING CNC Original Look Rear Disc Brake Set for Vespa Smallframe

The DEXTER RACING CNC rear disc brake set in the Original Look combines significantly improved braking performance with a design that deliberately retains the stock appearance. This makes the system ideal for classic Vespa Smallframe models that require modern braking technology without visually altering the vehicle’s original character.

A major advantage of the system is that installation is fully reversible. No modifications to the engine casing are required for installation. There is no need for welding, milling, or any other permanent alterations to the original structure of the engine.

CNC-milled wheel hub and brake caliper mount

The wheel hub and brake caliper mount are CNC-machined entirely from solid stock using a high-strength aluminum alloy. The precise manufacturing ensures high stability, an exact fit, and a technically superior finish.

The components are micro-shot-blasted, giving them a uniform, high-quality surface. The silver finish blends particularly harmoniously with the classic design of the Vespa engine.

Original Look – Modern Technology with an Authentic Appearance

The design is deliberately modeled after the original Vespa components. As a result, the classic appearance of the rear wheel is largely preserved, even though a modern and high-performance disc brake system is technically in use.

This is a major advantage, especially for high-quality restorations, subtly tuned vehicles, or classic street scooters: significantly greater braking power without an eye-catching racing look.

Radially mounted 4-piston brake caliper

Braking is handled by a high-performance 4-piston caliper with radial mounting. The sturdy design enables powerful and precisely modulated braking and offers significantly greater braking reserve than the stock rear drum brake.

Especially with high-performance engines and at higher speeds, the disc brake ensures significantly more confident braking performance.

For classic 10-inch rims

The CNC-machined wheel hub is designed for use with the classic 10-inch tubeless rims found on Vespa Smallframe models. This allows the original rim design to be retained.

No modifications to the engine casing

The entire conversion is carried out without making any permanent changes to the engine casing. This is not only beneficial for high-quality or original-condition vehicles, but also allows for a return to the standard drum brake at any time.
