Rear shock absorber adapter - DEXTER RACING - Vespa Smallframe V50 / V90 / 100 / Primavera 125 (PV) / ET3 - for resonance exhaust systems

Compact adapter for relocating the rear shock absorber upper bearing on classic Smallframe frames (V50, V90, 100, PV125, ET3). Reliably creates space for large resonance exhaust systems whose manifold would otherwise touch the shock absorber. Not for PK models.

Smallframe Classic +30-35 mm to the rear up to ~5 mm outwards Standard height ~+9 mm incl. reinforcement plate Mounting material incl.

Benefits & use

More manifold clearance for powerful resonance systems (right-hand routing)
No contact between manifold and damper - less vibration/vibration cracks
Rideability close to standard; geometry remains suitable for everyday use
Installation without welding work on the engine housing

Technology & scope of delivery

Offset: ~30-35 mm to the rear, up to ~5 mm outwards
Installation height: ~+9 mm (with standard silent block)
Integrated frame support + reinforcement plate included
Fastening material: M8 hexagon socket screw, washers, lock nut
Optional second frame mounting point (hole) possible

Compatible vehicle models - classic Smallframe (no PK)

Vespa 50 N/L/R/Special (V5A/V5B series)
Vespa 90 (V9A1T), 90 SS (Super Sprint)
Vespa 100 (V9B), 100 Sport
Primavera 125 (PV) VMA2T
ET3 125 VMB1T

Note: Not for PK frames (PK 50/80/125 S/XL/XL2/ETS).

50 (N/L/Special derivatives)
PK 75/Primavera 125
T3 125 (license build)

Prerequisite: classic Smallframe frame (no PK chassis).

Assembly & practice

Install reinforcement plate on the inside of the frame - protects against cracks
Pre-drill/screw optional second mounting point on the frame (recommended for hard setups)
Align shock absorber without play; check clearance of manifold/tires
Retighten all screw connections after the first 50-100 km

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about the DEXTER RACING shock absorber adapter (Smallframe)

The installation height is ~+9 mm (with standard silent block); the geometry remains suitable for everyday use. The offset to the rear primarily provides manifold clearance; the response behavior remains close to stock.
For large resonance systems, such as Egig Boa, where the manifold bypasses the silencer. Box or "banana" systems generally do not require the offset.
No. The adapter is designed exclusively for classic smallframe frames (V50, V90, 100, PV, ET3) - not for PK chassis.
The adapter uses the original point and is additionally supported on the frame. The enclosed reinforcement plateis placed on the inside and distributes the load. A second attachment point can be optionally drilled - recommended for very hard setups.
Designed for the standard silent block and common aftermarket shocks for classic small frames. For extra-large shock absorber heads, check clearance and add a thin washer if necessary.
