A reed block is a massive flow obstruction in the intake tract. Italkit's 'doble prisma' system significantly improves both the available diaphragm area and the flow. This is primarily achieved by doubling the number of reeds. This also reduces the stroke of each individual reed, which increases the flow velocity within the diaphragm tract.
