bgm PRO suspension upgrade for LambrettaIf you want to adapt your Lambretta's fork to today’s engine performance and modern suspension standards, you’ll need high-quality damping components. BGM offers precisely this with their excellently performing, multi-adjustable shock absorbers.
Bolt OnTo allow fitment on forks without original shock absorber mounts, BGM provides bolt-on brackets made of high-strength anodized aluminium. This eliminates the need to weld on steel tabs. The CNC-machined components simply bolt to the fork and provide a highly stable and precise mounting base. In addition to BGM shocks, all other common dampers can also be mounted. The different widths of the shock absorber eyes are compensated using the included spacers.
Installation info
- Fork links with shock mount or alternatively a lower shock mount bracket are required (see accessories)
- Distance between mounting points (center-to-center) should be 218–220 mm
- Align the shock parallel to the direction of travel (angled installation may push silent blocks out of position)
- Compatible with mounting widths of 14, 16, and 18 mm:
- 14 mm: Casa Lambretta / FA Italia (+ 2 spacers)
- 16 mm: BGM (+1 spacer)
- 18 mm: SPAQ (0 spacers)
- Tightening torque for bolts: 12–14 Nm
- Bolts are secured using a curved spring washer under the bolt head
- Ensure both parts are mounted in parallel
