For larger surfaces to be stuck on, it is always an advantage if you spray the surface with some water before sticking on. The water can also be mixed with a few drops of detergent to make it more slippery. This way you can still make corrections during the application without destroying the sticker. If the sticker is on a carrier foil, you can use a plastic squeegee to push the water out from under the sticker by pulling the squeegee diagonally and with light pressure over the surface. This way there are no water reservoirs in the sticker which would only dry slowly and the connection between sticker and surface is improved by the squeegee.
