The tread design of the DIABOLO ROSSO™ Scooter SC is based on the DIABOLO ROSSO™ Scooter, has been further optimized for racing and
has fewer tread grooves, which are shorter and narrower at the same time.
In addition, they are spaced differently from left to right and have a lower number of repetitions around the rolling circumference:
This reduces the ratio of tread grooves to rubber contact area from 11.4% to 4.1%, which corresponds to the negative tread ratio of all our road-approved
racing tires.
The patented "Flash" tread design is the current reference for all sports products due to its optimal wear and water drainage properties:
It offers a proven and efficient solution to combine a compact tread, a low tread groove to rubber contact patch ratio, as well as the
tread groove alignment and water drainage capability.
In combination with the soft compound and the ability to adapt to asphalt irregularities, the DIABOLO ROSSO™ Scooter SC is also suitable for
racing in wet conditions.
