SCHMITT 17.5mm tuning carburetor kit for Simson mopeds
Tuning carburetor kit 17.5 mm for Simson S50, S51, S53, S70, S83, SR50, SR80. The kit includes a 17.5 mm Naraku tuning carburetor with clamping flange, a carburetor needle set with 10 parts (W3, W4, W5, W7, W8, W9, W10, W11, W12, W25), 10 main jets (M5: 70, 72, 74, 76, 78, 80, 82, 84, 86, 88), 10 secondary jets (30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 45, 48, 50) and an intake rubber. The set is supplemented by the Schmitt carburetor flange, which enables the Naraku tuning carburetor to be fitted to Simson mopeds or scooters.
For a basic setup on Simson 50cc engines, we recommend a main jet between 75 and 85, a secondary jet from 40 to 45 and a carburetor needle from W10 to W12. Fine tuning should be carried out individually according to the engine, exhaust and air filter. The original throttle cable can still be used. We recommend the IP23150 choke in MX style, which can be fitted directly to the carburetor or can be used after minimal adjustments to the original Bowden cable (slightly file down the cable barrel).
