The Polini Maxi Hi-Speed variator is one of the most powerful varios in the maxi scooter sector. The focus here was on the design of the roller tracks, which make better use of the engine's existing power band than is the case with the original variator. This means that the transmission ratio changes at a more favorable torque range. This provides more acceleration and slightly more top speed.

This Polini variator is also impressive in terms of workmanship and reliability. A sealed plain bearing with a cleanly finished bearing bush significantly reduces the friction values and the dirt load in the sliding movement. This results in perfect shifting behavior and a long service life due to reduced wear.
