The original drive of the 125/150cc Piaggio i-get engines is throttled from the factory to comply with the legal limits of exhaust and noise.
The BGM Vario removes this throttle and ensures that the engine can deliver its full power to the rear wheel. In addition, the usable speed band is widened and the engine has its full power earlier.
On the road, the vehicle is thus significantly more agile, more powerful and far superior to a standard scooter, especially in terms of traction. The lengthening of the gear ratio has a gentle effect on the engine. The engine remains at the same speed level almost up to the top speed and does not start revving up at 70 km/h. The engine is now more agile and has more power on the road.
