Vespa LT, VX, VXL and SXL scooters - information, models and suitable spare parts
The Asian Vespa LT, VX, VXL and SXL models are technically based on modern Vespa four-strokes with air- or water-cooled engines, variomatic drive and clearly structured electrics. Manufactured for the Indian and South East Asian markets, among others, they combine classic Vespa shapes with a simplified, maintenance-friendly technical basis. Many components are based on European models such as the Primavera and Sprint, but have regional specifications for the engine, chassis and electrics.
Vespa LT/VX/VXL/SXL - classic looks with regionally adapted technology
Model overview, technology and parts supply in Scooter Center
The most common Asian Vespa series include the LT 125, VX 125/150 and the modern VXL and SXL models. Depending on the model, air- or water-cooled four-strokes are used, combined with contactless ignition, simple valve train mechanics and a stable variator.
Many models use engine variants that are technically close to the Primavera and Sprint, but differ in details such as the air filter, ECU, exhaust system or add-on parts. The Scooter Center carries suitable spare parts for the drive, variator, ignition, carburettor or EFI, brake system and all relevant maintenance work for these model series.
Technical features of the Vespa LT/VX/VXL/SXL models
The Asian Vespa models are based on robust four-stroke engines designed for high mileage in city traffic. Typical features include an easily accessible valve train, a clearly structured variator and electrical systems that meet regional standards.
The frame, chassis geometry and bodywork are based on the European Primavera/Sprint line, although details such as lighting, ECU mapping and exhaust specifications vary depending on the market. This technical basis ensures uncomplicated maintenance and a clear allocation of the required spare parts.
