In 2015, horror news shook the German scooter scene: Markus R. was killed in a wildlife accident on his Vespa, leaving behind his wife and newborn child. The scooter scene spontaneously organized a fundraiser for his wife and daughter. Vespa and Lambretta friends helped quickly and unbureaucratically.

A tragedy that can suddenly strike anyone through no fault of their own. Over time, several more scooter riders had accidents. Some will never again be "AT HALF THE BAR"...

The Scooter Center team was immediately on fire with the idea of helping the association.
