The FACO luggage compartment is the classic solution for creating additional storage space in the leg shield for tools, papers or small items. Space is at a premium, especially on smallframe models - the compartment makes sensible use of the available space and remains visually close to the familiar accessory solutions of the time.
There are two common options for mounting the luggage compartment - depending on whether the frame is already painted or the vehicle is currently being assembled.
We recommend a complete dry-build, i.e. an assembly in the unfinished state, before any painting. This allows any necessary adjustments to be made quickly without damaging freshly painted parts later. Afterwards, the final assembly is twice as much fun.
