Most mopeds are equipped with a throttled or speed-reduced CDI ignition unit from the factory. This makes the moped on the one hand slower and on the other hand the newly gained power of the engine after previous tuning measures can not be fully exploited. The engine cuts out much too early to get into the performance-giving rpm ranges.
Conclusion: The lock must be removed. When using a tuning cylinder or a sports exhaust system, an open racing CDI is a mandatory component.
A simple measure offers this open CDI. Simply replace against the original CDI and the post goes off. The CDI can of course also be used in mopeds in original condition as a spare part.
