MIKUNI TMX24 carburetor - 24 mm, manual choke, ideal for 2-stroke automatic engines

The carburetors from the Japanese manufacturer Mikuni belong to the reference class when it comes to perfect tunability and therefore the highest achievable performance with optimum consumption. Mikuni carburetors and parts are manufactured with tolerances of 5/1000ths. This is one of the reasons why they run so perfectly. However, you should take a little time for tuning, as the Mikuni carburetors do not run with just any carburetor configuration, but only with the right one. In return, however, they will run perfectly and you won't run the risk of the engine only running properly in some partial load ranges and then blowing up in one of the other partial load ranges.

The TM24 works very well on the 125-180cc 2-stroke Piaggio automatic engines. The basic setup usually fits very well, usually only the main jet needs to be adjusted. Fortunately, the carburetor even fits with the original connecting rubber, as well as on the carburetor and air filter side.


The Mikuni carburetors react quickly to fine contamination of the fuel by overflowing the float chamber. Therefore, ideally use a good fuel filter here.
