Genuine Piaggio ABS sensor for the front wheel of the Vespa GTV 300 Sei Giorni. The wheel speed sensor detects the rotation of the front wheel and provides the ABS system with the required speed signal. If the sensor is damaged or faulty, the complete sensor unit can be replaced with the corresponding genuine part.
The sensor is supplied as a pre-assembled unit with a permanently attached cable and vehicle-side electrical connector. The application-specific cable length and routing allow installation according to the original factory configuration.
The product images clearly show the compact sensor head with integrated mounting eyelet. Large sections of the long black connecting cable are covered by a flexible protective spiral. Additional guide and retaining elements along the cable support the intended routing on the vehicle. The electrical connector for connection to the vehicle wiring harness is located at the end of the cable.
During installation, ensure that the sensor head is positioned correctly and that the connecting cable follows the original routing. The cable must be routed so that it is not placed under tension, kinked or at risk of damage from moving or hot components when steering or the suspension is compressed. The ABS tone ring area should also be checked for contamination and damage when replacing the sensor.
After installation, check the electrical connection and cable routing. The correct operation of the ABS system should then be verified.
