ROTWEISS Aluminum Mirror Polish

ROTWEISS Aluminum Mirror Polish is a specially developed care product for restoring untreated aluminum. It gives aluminum surfaces a mirror-like gloss and provides protection against oxidation.

Application Areas

• High-gloss polished aluminum rims showing signs of weathering.
• Untreated aluminum parts on vehicles, motorcycles, and boats.
• Various metal surfaces that require a shiny finish.

Properties

• Mirror Effect: Brings a mirror-like gloss to untreated aluminum and revitalizes dull surfaces.
• Oxidation Protection: Contains waxes that delay the re-tarnishing of aluminum, keeping the surface protected longer.
• Silicone-free: Allows for easy further processing or painting.
• Versatile Application: Suitable for manual application with a soft cloth and for machine processing with polishers.

Application Instructions

1. Preparation: Thoroughly clean and dry the aluminum surface to be polished.
2. Application: Apply a small amount of polish to a soft cloth or polishing fibers.
3. Polishing: Work in circular motions until the surface darkens slightly.
4. Final Polishing: Remove polish residue with a clean cotton cloth and bring the surface to a high gloss.

For machine application, apply the polish to a polishing pad or lambswool and polish with moderate pressure.

Yield

A 150 ml tube covers approximately 10 m², depending on the degree of weathering.

Notes

• The achievable gloss level depends on the composition of the aluminum alloy.
• For an even higher gloss, additional accessories such as sandpaper, felt discs, and wax blocks can be used with a machine.
• The product is not suitable for anodized or coated aluminum.
