Batteries contain lead and must therefore not be disposed of with household waste (§ 12 Battery Ordinance of March 27, 1998). For this purpose, they are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can with the chemical symbol of the heavy metal (Pb=lead) that is decisive for the classification as containing harmful substances. German customers are obliged (§ 7 BattV) to return used batteries to the seller or to a municipal collection point. Due to the dangerous goods regulation, the return of the used battery via shipping is not possible. For this reason, we offer you either the return at our store or you can simply get the deposit voucher (enclosed with each battery shipped by us), stamped at a municipal collection point. If you send this sufficiently stamped with the indication of your customer number and your bank connection to us, we will refund you the 7.50€ deposit immediately. The batteries are delivered dry pre-charged. Battery acid is not included in the delivery. This may not be sent on the way.
