The bleeder set works with an integrated non-return valve. The old brake fluid is pressed out via the master cylinder and the non-return valve prevents the fluid or secondary air from flowing back into the brake system.
Note the direction of installation! The direction of flow is indicated by an arrow on the silver-colored non-return valve(US)
