LED Mini Indicators – CNC Metal Housing – Black – Tinted Lens – E-Marked

Less indicator can mean considerably more style. These LED mini indicators with black CNC-machined metal housings are mounted directly underneath the brake controls on the handlebar and replace large, visually dominant indicators with a much more compact solution. The result is a cleaner front end where the headlight, handlebar and contours of the scooter take centre stage again.

The extremely discreet integration into the handlebar area is particularly noticeable. Thanks to the black housing and dark tinted lens, the indicators visually recede when switched off. Instead of protruding prominently from the sides, they sit directly underneath the brake master cylinders, making them appear almost like an integral part of the controls.

Large indicators out – clean lines in

Standard indicators serve their purpose, but their size and position can often have a greater influence on the appearance of the front end than desired. Especially on a customised scooter, large indicators can unnecessarily interrupt the lines of the handlebar and front section.

These mini indicators take a completely different approach. Their position underneath the brake controls makes use of an area already occupied by the levers, master cylinders and handlebar components. This avoids creating another visually prominent element extending outwards from the scooter. The front end appears more compact and considerably cleaner.

Almost invisible until they are needed

The dark tinted lens is an important part of the design. Combined with the black housing, it allows the indicator to blend visually with the dark components around the handlebar. Particularly on a black handlebar, it is difficult to notice at first glance where the indicators are actually positioned.

This creates a strong contrast between discreet appearance and function: when switched off, the lighting technology remains unobtrusively in the background, while the LEDs perform their intended function when activated. This combination makes the compact indicators particularly suitable for scooters with a clean and reduced appearance.

CNC-machined metal instead of bulky plastic

The compact metal housing is CNC machined and finished in black. Its precise shape complements the technical appearance of modern brake controls and other high-quality handlebar components.

The extremely compact construction does not simply look like a smaller version of a conventional indicator. Instead, the light appears to be a deliberately integrated component of the cockpit. The black metal housing and tinted lens combine to create a clean, technical appearance without unnecessary visual bulk.

The front end belongs to the scooter again

The effect is particularly noticeable when viewed directly from the front. The central headlight remains the dominant visual element, while the indicators underneath the two brake controls are barely noticeable. The horizontal line of the handlebar is no longer visually extended by large indicator housings on either side.

This is particularly effective on classic and retro-inspired scooters. The characteristic shape of the vehicle remains clearly visible while the lighting technology is integrated in a considerably more modern and discreet way.

Ideal for clean custom handlebars

Mirrors, brake levers, master cylinders, grips and switches already create plenty of visual structure around the handlebar. Adding large indicators can quickly make this area appear cluttered. These mini indicators instead make use of the available space directly underneath the controls.

Combined with black levers, black mirror arms and dark handlebar components, they create a particularly coherent overall appearance. The indicators do not become another dominant styling element – they leave more room for the design of the scooter itself.

Compact and still road legal

With indicators this compact, road legality is an important consideration. In this case, however, the clean appearance does not require a show-only or racing conversion: the LED mini indicators feature an E-mark and are approved for legal use on public roads.

They therefore combine two particularly useful characteristics for compact custom components: an extremely discreet design and the required approval for road use.

Details you notice precisely because you barely see them

Good customising does not necessarily mean making more components visible. Sometimes the strongest visual change comes from making something almost disappear. That is exactly the approach taken by these LED mini indicators.

Large protruding indicators are replaced by two small light units positioned directly underneath the brake controls. The front end does not become more complicated – it becomes more consistent. Less visual bulk, less distraction and more attention on the actual lines of the scooter.

Highlights

  • Mounted directly underneath the brake controls or brake master cylinders
  • Black CNC-machined metal housing
  • Dark tinted lens for an especially discreet appearance when switched off
  • Compact replacement for large and visually dominant indicators
  • E-marked and approved for legal use on public roads
  • Discreet integration between the brake controls and handlebar

Clean look instead of large indicators

These LED mini indicators are not designed to become the visual centrepiece of the scooter – and that is exactly their strength. Black CNC-machined metal, a dark tinted lens and their position directly underneath the brake controls allow the indicators to blend almost completely into the handlebar area.

When the large indicators disappear, more of the scooter itself remains visible. A small modification to the handlebar that gives the entire front end a considerably cleaner appearance – and thanks to the E-mark, not just for show and custom projects, but also for legal use on public roads.
