Front brake pads PIAGGIO – for HengTong type S51 brake caliper with Ø=12 mm guide pin
Original Piaggio brake pads for the front brake of numerous Vespa, Piaggio, Gilera, Derbi and Aprilia models. The brake pad set is designed for vehicles equipped with a HengTong type S51 brake caliper with Ø=12 mm guide pin and corresponds to Piaggio part numbers 497116, 647078, 651253 and 668021.
The brake pads serve as an original replacement for worn or damaged standard pads. In addition to the vehicle application, the version of the fitted brake caliper must be taken into account, as different braking systems may have been used within individual model ranges.
For HengTong type S51 brake caliper
This brake pad set is specifically assigned to the HengTong type S51 brake caliper with a Ø=12 mm guide pin. The two pads have different backing plate shapes and are designed according to their respective positions within the brake caliper.
The constructional details are clearly visible in the product images. The metal backing plates feature the required locating and guiding sections. One of the two pads has an extended side section with an open locating point, while the second pad features separate mounting or guide tabs. Both friction surfaces have a centrally positioned groove.
