This kit with high-quality replica of the Dell'Orto SHBC 20 corresponds to the carburettor of the most powerful smallframe from the factory, the Vespa PK125 ETS, plus optimized SIL-TECH Performance airbox, which is prepared to accept a SIL TECH Performance venturi funnel (SIL SHBC1919E). Suitable for many smallframe setups.
Why 20 mm?
The small 16 mm standard carburetors noticeably limit the filling. With its 20 mm cross-section, the SHBC 20 allows the engine to breathe more freely, especially thanks to the flow-optimized SIL-TECH performance airbox with integrated filter element - particularly effective on tuned 50 cc engines with 75 cc, 85 cc, 102 cc, 112/115 cc through to modern ALU cylinders such as the Polini Evolution or VMC ET6 with 133 cc. In combination with a crankshaft with optimized intake control angles and/or a diaphragm-controlled intake manifold, such an engine is in no way inferior to the 125cc models - in fact, it often seems to rev significantly faster.

Technical information
As with every carburetor change, the jetting must be individually adjusted, especially if Venturi funnels are to be used (fuel, exhaust, cylinder, air filter and operating height play a role). For the start, we recommend a larger main jet than recommended and approaching the ideal with a clean spark plug pattern and load tests.

No. The set contains the 20mm intake manifold for PK engines from approx. 1988 with 3-hole mount. This means that the 20mm carburetor sits correctly and offers sufficient space in the frame.
The 20-barrel carburetor offers hardly any advantages on standard 50 cc engines. From 75 cc upwards, it shows its potential and significantly improves torque and revving pleasure.
The factory-fitted jetting is a basis and must always be adapted to the respective setup. Deliberately start a little richer and work your way up to the optimum via test or ride tests.
Very well proven: Cylinder 85-115-133 cc, crankshaft with optimized intake timing and optional SIL TECH Performance Venturi funnel (item SILSHBC1919E). The result is a lively set-up suitable for everyday use with powerful pulling power.
