Reinforced circlip Ø 86 mm - BGM PRO for Vespa Wideframe clutch basket
This reinforced circlip from BGM PRO (Ø 86 mm) is designed for mounting in the clutch basketof classic Vespa Wideframe models. Thanks to the increased material thickness and greater preload force, the ring is more stable - exactly what you want for clutches with strong springsand correspondingly higher loads.
Practical for everyday screwdriving: holes are provided at the ring ends. This allows the circlip to be gripped cleanly with circlip pliers and conveniently inserted into the clutch basket - without fumbling and without deforming the ring.

Why a reinforced retaining ring?
More reserve: With strong springs, the axial load in the cage increases - a ring with a higher preload holds better here.
Stable fit: Reduces the risk of the ring "working" under load or moving out of the groove more easily.
Better installation: Holes at the ends facilitate controlled insertion with circlip pliers.
Note: Optional set with reinforcement plate
Alternatively, we also offer a set consisting of a reinforced ring and reinforcement plate. The plate engages positively in the lugs of the clutch basket and thus prevents the basket from spreading at higher speeds - particularly useful for powerful setups.
