For installation, the engine housing must be slightly modified/milled in the area of the third/fourth auxiliary shaft gear. The PX125-200 models are used as the auxiliary shaft sprockets (21 pcs.). Please use the type of the Vespa GS150 models (VS3-VS5) as the gearshift detent.
* For the Vespa VM1T/VM2T and VN1T series engines, the main shaft supplied by Pinasco does not fit, the original one must be used. The Pinasco gear pinions can then be used on this.
The ratio in fourth gear corresponds to that of the third gear of an original VM/VN gearbox. An increase in top speed can therefore only be achieved with a longer reduction ratio primary drive. The gradation of the Pinasco gearbox is significantly shorter than the original. This enables a long primary reduction ratio without the jump from gear three to four stalling the engine.
