The "GS-Veloce 2.0" from Nagy Blechroller is the logical further development of a successful model. The CNC-milled predecessor has been a firm fixture on the market for over 10 years - now it has been optimized in detail. This head is manufactured to fit all Vespa GS150 models in the VS2 to VS5 series as well as the corresponding licensed models (e.g. Vespa GS/3).
Efficiency through design
With a compression ratio of around 1:10, the head provides a noticeable increase in performance. But performance is nothing without stability: the new ribbed design not only improves the gas flow under the hood, but also massively supports the heat dissipation of the original cylinder. This means that your engine remains thermally healthier even when driven in a sporty manner.
The head is designed for a piston clearance of approx. 1 mm. This means it harmonizes perfectly with the piston crown geometry of the currently available Meteor pistons.
Assembly & setup instructions
The head is designed for plug & play installation. The supplied O-ring seal ensures a secure seal to the cylinder surface. To ensure that your engine runs perfectly, please note the following points:
- Spark plug: Attention, there is a change to the series here! You need a spark plug with a long thread. We recommend a heat value of 250 or higher (e.g. Bosch W4CC or NGK B7ES).
- Ignition: To be on the safe side, set the ignition timing to 24 degrees before TDC.
- Jetting: Never change a running system! It is not necessary to change the jetting. Experience has shown that a change here is more likely to lead to a deterioration in running quality.
