This is by no means limited to simply enlarging the bore to 52 mm. A closer look reveals the completely redesigned port layout of the cylinder. With a few small tricks, the scavenging behavior has been significantly optimized and adapted to the latest state of modern 2-stroke tuning.
The cylinder must be run with a long-stroke shaft with 44 mm stroke and 90 mm connecting rod length as well as 13 mm piston pins. A high-quality racing crankshaft with appropriate bearings that can cope with the immense power is a must anyway. Thanks to the increased displacement and redesigned port layout, outputs of 34 hp and more are possible.
In order to mount the cylinder, the engine block must be spindled to 56.7 mm in the area of the cylinder base mount.
