For a long time there was only the cast iron cylinder from Polini for the small large frame engines (PX, LML, Stella, Cosa 125-150ccm).
In contrast to the old version, this cylinder is made of aluminum with a coated raceway and therefore has the advantage of being more temperature resistant. The larger displacement with 187ccm is done by a 60mm stroke crankshaft. This MUST be mounted.
The overflow layout as well as the exhaust shape have been revised and the cylinder has been generally extended by a few modern gimmicks. The head is now 8 way bolted on, a head gasket added and so is tight or can be fitted with little stress.
The exhaust has been given a 4-position steel flange and the spark plug can optionally be screwed in centrally instead of sideways.
